From April 2026 HMRC will no longer accept electronic P11Ds and are mandating employers payroll employee benefits. Please see the announcement here

Customers can only register  with HMRC to payroll benefits from the start of a tax year so this means customers will either start payroll from April 2025 or April 2026. This gives plenty of time for customers to understand the calculations and business process changes that will be required for both payroll teams and employees.

SAP already provides UK customers with a comprehensive solution for the Payrolling of employee benefits (PBIK). Since its first introduction by HMRC in 2016 we have seen first hand what this transition means for customers and their employees so in partnership with the UKISUG SAP will be presenting two webinars to introduce the topic of payrolling benefits and explaining how SAP Payroll (PY-GB) handles this.

These sessions will explain how both car and other taxable benefits are processed through payroll and included in legal reporting. They will also seek to highlight areas for consideration when implementing and rolling out the solution in your business. This may include changes to your business processes as well as communicating the up coming changes to employees. Armed with this information customers will have the ability to plan ahead for a smooth, successful transition.

These sessions are open to all and we encourage business users as well as IT support and consultants to join.

Part 1 - Wednesday 17th July 11.00 - 12.00 (GMT)

This session will introduce the basic concepts of the payrolling of benefits processing in SAP.

Part 2 - Tuesday 17th September 13.30 - 14.30 (GMT)

This session will build on the first going in to more complex scenarios so please ensure you have attended the July session (or watched back the recording) before attending the part 2 webinar.
