Just three month after publishing the
first blog about SAP Best Practices for SAP SuccessFactors Learning, I am thrilled to write about the new second version, which has just been made available via the
SAP Best Practices Explorer. This new solution package comes with extended scope to allow customers and partners to benefit from even more pre-configured processes and accelerator assets such as process flows, simulations, configuration guides and end-to-end test scripts.
All designed to drive standardization of implementation projects based on SAP Best Practices.
SAP SuccessFactors Learning helps customers to develop their talent with accessible, relevant and personalized training and reduce compliance risk. The following topics are true highlights in this enhanced SAP Best Practices version:
Learning management
These comprehensive processes cover the creation of different learning items such as scheduled-only and online-only items and explain curricula and programs to structure and manage learning content. In addition to the content of the previous version, these new scenarios have been added:
- Descriptions for integrating BizX with LMS
- Batch import of curriculum and learning assignments and import of learning content
- Integration of Virtual Learning Service (VLS) with Adobe Connect®
- Notifications enablement
Learning evaluations
Learning evaluations based on questionnaires facilitate the feedback and evaluation of user satisfaction with a course. These questionnaires can be assigned to learning items for learning evaluation.
Learning assessments
Exam assessments have been designed to take care of more complex evaluations and are supported by a question library which allows to share questions among exams.
Learning groups with SAP Jam
SAP Jam integration allows to bring together the world of more formal learning with the more informal social learning. For that reason, Jam groups can be assigned to programs as well as learning items.
Learning competencies
Competencies are used to measure mastery fo of learning events and are shared with other BizX applications. The SAP Best Practices describe how to make BizX competencies available in SAP SuccessFactors Learning and how to use competencies with learning items.
