As with every release I want to give you a short overview of my personal highlights. But first, I would like to draw your attention to our new employee experience management solutions following the acquisition of Qualtrics. With these solutions you can collect experience data (X-data) from Qualtrics and combine it with operational HR data (O-data) from SAP SuccessFactors to analyze and understand experience gaps, which we define as the difference between the experience an organization believes it is delivering, and the actual experience delivered. Learn more about our Employee Experience Management solutions from SAP in Lara Albert’s blog “Delivering Exceptional Employee Experiences Requires Identifying and Closing Experience Gaps” and check out the Qualtrics website for deeper product information.

Let’s continue with my personal highlights of our Q2 2019 release:

We have added the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Service Center “Ask HR” functionality to the SAP SuccessFactors mobile app. This makes it even easier for employees to contact HR, create tickets, check the status of an issue, and update any HR issue they have reported – including using the mobile device to have real conversations with an HR agent, which improves employee engagement and satisfaction, and elevates service levels by getting issues resolved quickly by local HR experts according to the HR processes you define.

And, again, we have highlights in our SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting solution. Over the last 4 releases, recruiters can build internal talent pools, set up targeted e-mail campaigns, and create landing pages by using our candidate relationship management (CRM) capabilities. With this latest release recruiters can make use of our activity tracker which is added to our CRM capabilities. As soon as recruiters subscribe to key events for candidates they will be alerted to take action in order to proactively engage with their top candidates.

Those are my major highlights in the Q2 2019 release, but there is a lot more! Read our Q2 2019 Release Highlights document and listen to our Head of Product, Amy Wilson, on YouTube.

Check back into this blog as I will add links to detailed highlights blogs as soon as they are available.

More information on this release can be found on the product update pages in our SAP SuccessFactors customer community (registration required).

Our next release is planned for Q3 2019. We’ll send you a summary of release highlights shortly beforehand. However, you can review a detailed release summary, which is published in our customer community, four weeks prior to the release.
