It is that time of the year when SAP SuccessFactors brings its second half-yearly product release and subsequent product area Q&A release webinars. This time around, for the very first time, we have combined the SAP SuccessFactors Best Practices and Implementation Design Principles together under one exclusive Q&A webinar for our customers and partners across the region.
What are SAP Best Practices? Why shall I consider using them?
SAP Best Practices are proven sets of business process configurations and supposed to deliver the configuration which most customers require. SAP Best Practices intend to be the starting point for your implementation projects and can as such help you minimize implementation risks and accelerate your implementation project.Customers do not need to pay for these configurations delivered.
Thanks to a very modular design, SAP Best Practices are delivered in separate configuration blocks which can be deployed flexibly with a click on a button. Depending on individual customer’s needs the relevant configuration blocks can be applied. Configuration blocks delivered by SAP qualified Partners can be applied either on top of SAP Best Practices or instead of SAP Best Practices as well. After applying the predefined business configuration, individual customer requirements can be configured manually.
What is Implementation Design Principle for SAP SuccessFactors Solution? Why shall I consider using them?
Implementation Design Principles (SFIDPs) for SAP SuccessFactors solutions provide structured guidance and product recommendations on how to address challenging customer requirements as well as frequently asked questions occurring during the design and product implementation phases. They also address the deployment strategy, solution architecture, business, and technical requirements of a given SAP SuccessFactors solution.SFIDPs deliver these leading practices by means of documents created in collaboration with our implementation partners, SAP professional services, and further verified by product. We have published 32 documents so far along with webinar recording on some of these documents on the SAP SuccessFactors Customer Community under the following product areas.
