I had a proud parenting moment the other day.  My son cleaned up his toys after he was done playing with them without having to be reminded.  Anyone who spends time with children knows this is no small feat.  I felt like I had succeeded at parenting that day.

You may be wondering what this has to do with the employee experience, so let me tell you.

We experience large and small wins every day in our professional lives and in our personal lives.  These are what keep us motivated and engaged and make each day’s work more meaningful. So, having felt like I had done something right in my parenting, I was feeling successful and confident and that’s the attitude I brought to work that day.

The scope of the employee experience has transcended the boundaries of HR and is now a company-wide initiative to create wellbeing, productivity, engagement and growth.  Business leaders now have to think about all the experiences that impact their employees not just in the workplace, but also outside the workplace as well.  To do this, employers must focus on the holistic employee experience by considering the emotional, financial and physical well-being of their employees so they can bring their best selves to work.  When you manage the holistic employee experience, your organization – like its employees – will also do and be its best.

Listen to this podcast on Transforming Employee Experience Management: A New Way of Doing Businessto learn how HR leaders that optimize their use of employee benefits, boost employee morale, and streamline internal processes, achieve better business results.

Yes Nicole I too had similar experiences of Win. In case you have worked late night to complete something and then next day you log in to find an appreciation mail from manager/customer, it is like a small Win and helps me to keep going and giving my best.
