Maybe you know and use the change history in the SAP SuccessFactors guides, which gives you an overview of what’s changing in the current guide for the new release. It tells you where we added pages, for example, because there is a new feature. Where we have revised pages, for example, because your feedback has shown that something is missing or not explained clearly enough. Or where we removed a page or text from a page, for example, because we redesigned the guide to better reflect your jobs to be done.
In most SAP SuccessFactors guides, the change history was the first page and placed at the very beginning of the table of contents.
Change History - How It Looked Before
However, data analytics have shown that while the change history is used, it is not suitable as the very first page of a guide. For example, if you select a guide that you're interested in on a product documentation page in the SAP Help Portal, you don't necessarily want to see the change history for this guide first. Instead, it’s certainly more useful to get to an overview or introduction page that tells you what the guide is all about.
Therefore, in the 2H 2023 release, we consistently moved the change history to the end of the table of contents in all SAP SuccessFactors guides. So that our readers can reliably know where to find the change history, but do not always have to land on it as the first page in the corresponding guide. We have included a corresponding entry in the change history. In the "More Info" column, this entry links to the new landing page of the relevant guide. This allows you to jump to the top of the guide with one click, for example, if you've bookmarked the guide and want to update your bookmark.
