I'm absolutely thrilled to announce our
latest H2 2021 package version for SAP Best Practices for SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics (aka Manager Dashboard) which just went live a couple of hours back on the
Best Practices Explorer.
In this release we have focused on
- regression testing all queries and the report story against the 2H 2021 SAP Best Practices for Employee Central and Recruiting Management,
- simplifying all queries by removing not needed table columns and
- making the Manager Dashboard report available through Content Store.

With the new Q1 SAP Best Practices portfolio update, we provide you with an updated version of the
Manager Dashboard built with SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics. Mid of last year we have created the first version of this SAP Best Practices package and talked about how to
Equip Your Team Leaders with a Manager Dashboard for SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics.
As a short re-cap, the Manager Dashboard brings together the most relevant insights for managers and business leaders from
multiple areas of the SAP SuccessFactors HXM suite: Workforce (e.g. headcount, FTE, job levels), Diversity (e.g. gender, age), Recruiting & Hiring (e.g. vacancies, job requisitions, hires), Leaves & Absences (e.g. sick leave), Compensation (e.g. total target cash), Terminations (e.g. exits, reasons).
For each of these critical business areas the dashboard sources
live data from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Time Management, Compensation and Recruiting Management taking into account the permissions that users have to access sensitive HR data.
The Manager Dashboard is delivered as
one report story which uses several data sources (queries) to feed the live data into the story pages.
These data sources have been created against data objects which come with the
SAP Best Practices configurations for
Employee Central as well as
Recruiting Management.
With this approach, we can ensure that the Manager Dashboard is a
plug-and-play deployment and runs
out-of-the-box in environments that have been setup with SAP Best Practices. In our Q1 package update that has been made
available on Best Practices Explorer, we have validated our report story, queries, charts and report tables with the latest H2 2020 SAP Best Practices packages releases to exactly deliver on the plug-and-play promise the best we can.
To deploy the Manager Dashboard, please
download the relevant .acn file from the attachment section of the package
SAP Note. Currently, the report file is not available via the Report Center Content Store due to it's cross-SAP SuccessFactors modules nature.
We provide you as well with
comprehensive technical documentation (in so-called configuration guides) on
Best Practices Explorer, that support you in understanding the story content and in possibly adapting and/or rebuilding the Manager Dashboard in an preview environment, which is not based on SAP Best Practices for SAP SuccessFactors configurations.
With this pre-configured dashboard we strive for
jump-starting and facilitating your journey to People Analytics as customers and partners and complement the increasingly rich
portfolio of standard report templates for People Analytics with a dedicated Manager Dashboard for your team leaders.
