Forward propagation from Compensation to Employee Central

Introduction

In this recording we are testing the Compensation Module feature called "Enable forward propagation when publishing from Compensation to Employee Central".

 

What does it do ?

• It will update future dated records of EC Comp Info with the value from our publish back but ONLY IF there isn't already a data change in that future dated record on the field we are publishing back.

 

So it will NOT work for the following requirements (they will require reports and adjustments by file import) :

• If we publish back the reviewed Base Salary of an employee on September 1st but there is already an off cycle increase on the Base Salary effective September 15, can we calculate the delta between the 2 records and apply it to the future dated record OR can we override the future dated record with the publish back value.
