First Half 2024 Release: What's new for Talent Management? We have AI-enabled features to share!

With the first half 2024 product release coming the weekend of May 17, it's time to take a look at what you can expect for SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals and SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development including exciting new AI-capabilities.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

With the roll out of new generative AI capabilities, AI-assisted goals helps to accelerate the process of crafting meaningful and aspirational performance goals. With this capability, employees can enter a brief description of what they want to achieve and receive ready-made goals they can accept, discard, or regenerate as needed. The goal fields available for AI generation include name, description, metric, start date, due date, and milestones. Additionally, with AI-assisted writing available across a range of performance and goal-related interactions, employees and managers can enhance the quality and tone of performance goals, and makes feedback more readily actionable.

We are also adding on to the existing features currently available in the flow of work.  Employees can now create activities and achievements directly within Microsoft Teams to conveniently capture this information as they work to better support more informed and productive performance conversations.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

As just shared for performance and goals, AI-assisted goals is also available to help employees quickly create more meaningful and ambitious development goals. With just a few words about how they would like to develop their careers, employees can receive AI-enhanced goals aligned with their personal growth plans. The goal fields available for AI generation include name, description, metric, start date, due date, and milestones.

Additionally, in this release we are introducing the integration of mentoring with continuous performance management capabilities. Mentors can now access continuous performance from the mentoring program page to create a one-on-one collaboration channel for meetings and other activities with their mentees.

Lastly, building on our efforts last year to apply the Horizon visual theme to all employee-facing pages, the theme has now been applied to succession planning and presentations pages.
