The First Half 2023 Release delivers many exciting innovations and enhancements within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central that will help organizations build a more agile, engaged, and future-ready workforce. Here is a quick snapshot of these new capabilities:
Configurable Concurrent Employment
With this release, we are introducing a configurable template for concurrent employment in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. HR admins will be able to configure the “add concurrent employment” process to cater to different needs, countries, and workforces. This template provides greater flexibility by allowing admins to add, remove, and re-order standard and custom fields. Localization Enhancements
This release also includes many enhancements to localized country versions, improving data quality in supported locales. We are also introducing a new option to configure and create additional pay type codes. This enhancement enables customers to meet specific country and region requirements when capturing payment information.
Public Sector Enhancements
We continue to deliver enhancements to support organizations within the public sector. Customers leveraging public sector management capabilities can now add the Employee Cost Assignment block to their configurable employment templates, including the new template for concurrent employment. This block allows admins to define the employee cost allocation and percent distribution to a cost center, fund, grant, or work breakdown structure (WBS) element.
Microsoft Teams Integration
We have taken a huge leap forward in our vision to bring high value, actionable HR processes into the flow of work. We are building application programming interfaces (APIs) and integrations that deliver SAP SuccessFactors experiences to several workplace technology tools. Beginning with Microsoft Teams, employees can now start Microsoft Teams chats with their colleagues from the people profile and employee quick card in SAP SuccessFactors solutions. Administrators will be able to quickly set up and customize these scenarios with a streamlined and intuitive configuration experience. Learn more about the latest work tech innovations here.
