On Thursday January 19th the BITKOM Education 4.0 conference took place in Berlin with around 250 participants including the German Minister of Education Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka, industry leaders, startups, politicians, professors, teachers, and students. The main discussion topic was the future of education in context of the fast changing world of digital transformation. The speeches and panel discussions gave interesting insights and inspiring views around education in high schools, at universities and in companies.
I had the honor to be on a panel together with Saskia Esken, MdB; Sven Volmering, MdB; and Prof. Dr. Gesche Joost, Berlin University of the Arts, and member of the supervisory board of SAP SE.

After the talks the ‘delina’ innovation prize for digital education was handed over from the German Minister of Education Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka accompanied by SAP and Cisco to three winning schools for their great projects and achievements.
It was great to be part of the Education 4.0 discussion and to have the opportunity to partner in shaping the future of education for schools, universities, and companies.
