Too Busy to handle all requests? Leverage new upgraded functionality available in SuccessFactors to Delegate work.

As a Manager you can assign up to two delegates Moreover each delegate can be given separate tasks or permissions to cover different functional or regional areas!

Here in this example let's have a look at the configuration of assigning Task to System Admin and HR Admin

1st Step: - Add entries in existing picklist job Delegate 1 & Delegate 2

NOTE: When defining the External Code of the picklist, make sure there is a space between the word and the number. i.e. "delegate 1" / "delegate 2"

Step 2:- Once you Add Picklist, The values would start reflecting in field Dropdown of  Relationship Type

Step 3:- Now Once you select Delegate A and B, You need to define what sort of permission would you like to provide in “Grant role to “pop-up”.  These options will only appear once the jobRelType picklist has been updated with Delegate Values.

You are all set to leverage the Delegate roles the same as any other Role; such as Manager, HR Manager, Etc.
