Ensuring Precision: A Step-by-Step Guide to Admin-Controlled Picklist Updates in SuccessFactors

Step 1: Secure the Object Picklist in Configure Object Definitions.

Step 2: Unlock the "Picklist" permission under Miscellaneous Permissions in the Permission Role. Grant Insert and Correct access. (Remember to provide "Configure Object Definition" access under Metadata Framework to access Picklist Center)

Step 3: While Granting this Permission role, Define the MDF target for the required picklist as below.

Outcome:

Admins accessing the Picklist Center will now see only the defined picklists, allowing edits exclusively to those picklists.

Attempting to create a new picklist will result in an error, ensuring precision in picklist management
