candidate id when hired NO ONB and NO EC requirement 

will this approach work ?if we create a custom field in applicant template and use business rule to  generate number ,wondering if anyone had similar experience working on this requirement

Hi,

Hope you are doing well
Yeah as per your requirement, it will not work from creating a field from RCM, Usually it work as per the sequence process
But to achieve this SAP provides standard solution, in which you can setup a rule in which you can concatenate the two value with the sequence id and put the IF conditional to seperate from ONB and EC
