Hello everyone,

With the publication of the Income Tax Law - Law 27725 for Argentina and the consequently changes in the tax calculation process in SAP ERP HCM, deductions to the employee tax were also enabled.

With that, for the simplified process, only the following two deductions are applied now:

  • Domestic services, which is a deduction with a legal annual limit.
  • Contributions to mutual guarantee companies, which is a deduction with no legal annual limit.

Each of these deduction types have two specific limits that can be deducted from the total of taxes to be payed by employees, one for Regular Zones and one for Special Zones. It is important to notice that customers can have more than one concept for each deduction.

Striving to bring a smooth process to our customers, the configurations for these deductions are already pre-delivered by SAP. However, as a payroll administrator you need to configure your own company-specific deductions wage types.
