In an increasingly mobile-driven world, employees expect to access work tools and resources as seamlessly as their personal apps. Recognizing this need, the SAP SuccessFactors mobile app continues to evolve, empowering HR teams and employees alike with enhanced accessibility and AI-driven features. With the 2H 2024 release, the app introduces new capabilities designed to streamline HR management tasks, improve engagement, and support the modern workforce. Let’s take a closer look at how these updates are making HR functions faster, smarter, and more adaptable to today’s demands.

Employee Central People Profile

In the people profile, we introduced several key innovations to enhance the mobile user experience. Users can now seamlessly switch between multiple  employments, enabling seamless access to profiles with multiple employments. Additionally, users can view, edit, and initiate SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central workflows directly within the app, delivering a comprehensive and efficient experience. Admin settings from the desktop version are now applied within the app as well, supporting spotlight card visibility preferences to match specific organizational needs. Together, these updates improve support for managing multiple employments, deliver a mobile-native experience for transactions, and reflect customized settings for diverse users—all in line with our commitment to a user-centered, adaptable, and high-performance HR solution on the go.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

The SAP SuccessFactors integrated learning experience on mobile introduces new features that add value to the learner journey. Highlights include Learning Banners, an Offline Download section on ILX, Administrator Recommendations, and manager email nudges to encourage engagement. These updates provide users with relevant information, personalized recommendations, and offline access to learning content, making it easier for learners to stay informed and advance in their development. Together, these features boost learner engagement, personalize the learning journey, improve access to resources, and facilitate communication between managers and employees, contributing to a more dynamic and impactful learning experience.

SAP SuccessFactors Goals Management

To streamline goal management, the SAP SuccessFactors mobile app now incorporates generative AI support for standard fields like name, description, and metric. Users will also see AI tags on goal detail and creation screens, making it easier and more efficient to set and track performance and development goals. These enhancements automate key aspects of goal setting and tracking, saving time and effort while driving productivity and fostering alignment with organizational objectives.

In addition to our AI innovations in SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals, users can now easily access the received feedback view linked to their activities. This feature allows both managers and employees to quickly view feedback directly from the activity details page, enhancing contextual relevance and supporting informed decision-making in performance management.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Time Management

The SAP SuccessFactors mobile app now supports displaying custom fields based on specific conditions. For example, a "Reason for Overtime" text field will only appear when the time type "Overtime" is selected. This targeted approach enhances data accuracy and completeness by ensuring that relevant information is captured and documented appropriately. Additionally, with this release, messages of all severity levels are now supported, ensuring users receive essential guidance. This functionality helps ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, equipping users with the necessary information before submitting leave requests or recording timesheet entries.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Benefits

With this release, users can easily accomplish key tasks such as benefits enrollment, reporting life events, and managing family members. The app provides on-the-go access to current benefits and benefits statements, along with easy navigation through helpful links and resources configured by administrators.

SAP SuccessFactors Push Notifications

The SAP SuccessFactors mobile app now includes support for push notifications related to Time Management and Continuous Performance Management. This feature keeps HR professionals and employees updated on important information and tasks while on the go. Users receive instant alerts for new messages directly on their mobile devices, facilitating timely communication and enabling prompt action. As a result, this enhancement boosts overall productivity and engagement with the platform. Users have the option to choose which types of push notifications they receive.
