Engen Petroleum initially purchased SAP Enable Now to support their S/4HANA implementation, by utilizing it to develop and distribute training, documentation, and post go-live support solutions. However, they have since extended its use to other applications, including non-SAP applications.
One of the key ways Engen Petroleum utilizes SAP Enable Now is by creating comprehensive eLearning content, including end-to-end business process information and Simulations to train end users on new system functionality. This content not only ensures that their workforce has a solid grounding in their new operating processes and procedures for also provides a hands-on learning experience for the new system functionality. Engen also assess the knowledge of their workforce, using Enable Now quizzes, to confirm that they have sufficient knowledge and skills to successfully operate in their new work environments.
In addition to training content, Engen Petroleum also generates various types of documentation using SAP Enable Now. This allows them to provide clear and concise instructions to their workforce, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of the corresponding systems.
Engen Petroleum is currently exploring the use of SAP Companion, a tool that provides real-time, continuous learning opportunities for end users in live SAP and non-SAP systems. This capability will allow their workforce to access on-demand support content to enhance their skills while working in the live systems.
Furthermore, SAP Enable Now has been instrumental in helping Engen Petroleum overcome the high cost and time delays associated with deploying systems to a workforce that operates in multiple languages. They utilize the translation capabilities of SAP Enable Now to provide content in multiple languages, ensuring effective communication and training for their non-English speaking workforce.
