It’s that time again! In this blog, I’ll highlight the key features from the first half 2025 SAP SuccessFactors Time Management release. For full details, be sure to check out the 'What's New Viewer'.
Before I go into the details, there is one key milestone to celebrate. More than 1,000 organizations worldwide have chosen SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking to elevate their time and attendance processes. This momentum highlights the growing demand for modern, user-friendly time solutions that support compliance, improve the employee experience, and integrate seamlessly with end-to-end business processes.
Enhancing the employee experience
This release introduces new features to streamline the workforce experience. With the new quick create feature, employees can quickly fill out their time sheets across multiple days or weeks in just one step, using any time type. By reducing repetitive data entry, employees can spend less time on admin tasks and more time on meaningful work, enhancing both efficiency and productivity.
Quick create
With an enhanced experience in Joule, employees can now easily create and update time off requests through a natural language experience. It’s a fast, intuitive way to manage leave without navigating multiple screens. This not only simplifies the request process but also helps reduce errors and ensures compliance with company policies.

Driving compliance and payroll accuracy
The single record approval feature is now available for both monthly and flexible time sheet periods to help managers ensure HR regulatory compliance and minimize payroll errors. This feature enables managers to assess and act on individual records, like overtime or work-from-home entries that may require pre-approval. It also supports specific workflows for approvals or cancellations, helping prevent incorrect time valuations from being processed for payroll.
Single record approval for time sheets
The new flexible time sheet approval periods feature allows organizations to configure time sheet submission and approval intervals based on business needs to support timely employee payments and help ensure compliance across countries. For example, companies in the United States often follow a bi-weekly payroll cycle, while others may use monthly intervals. This flexibility helps align time tracking with local payroll practices and organizational policies, simplifying approvals and reducing administrative overhead.
