We’re thrilled to share what is new for SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals as part of the 1H 2025 product release. We are unveiling a modern and refreshed performance form experience designed with your feedback in mind, new AI capabilities, and enhancements to continuous performance management capabilities. All built to help you focus on what matters most—your people.

We are excited to unveil the new performance form experience with a new interface and several AI-assisted capabilities designed to improve efficiency and support more consistent, high-quality evaluations. The layout has been updated to be more responsive and easier to navigate. Information panels now appear only when needed, providing context—such as historical comments or rating guidance—without crowding the screen. The result is a cleaner, more task-focused interface that reduces unnecessary scrolling and helps users stay focused while completing reviews.

This redesigned experience also includes AI-assisted comments feature, which suggests well-crafted, insightful starter comments that align with the ratings provided on skills, goals, and competencies. These serve as a starting point and helps evaluators provide constructive, growth-centric feedback, reducing the effort required to write detailed feedback, especially in large-scale reviews. That is not all. This experience also offers AI-assisted feedback in performance reviews, which helps refine and improve communications by integrating rating context and user input to make performance form feedback more relevant and precise.

For managers, this new experience provides AI-assisted performance insights. This feature analyzes a wealth of talent data from continuous feedback to achievements, to the mid-year performance assessment and summarizes the employee’s strengths, achievements, and areas for improvement. This feature gives managers a quick yet comprehensive understanding of an employee’s performance with actionable recommendations tailored to each employee's strengths and areas for improvement.

With this release, we are also introducing AI-based sentiment analysis for 360-degree reviews to help employees quickly identify positive, negative or mixed feedback, highlighting areas that need improvement and enabling focused professional development. This makes it easier to spot areas that require attention or improvement without having to manually sift through each comment. It also helps highlight areas where the employee is consistently recognized, which can be useful for both motivation and development planning.

And for continuous performance management, employees can now link activities and achievements across various goal plans, leveraging greater flexibility to reflect everyday efforts and evolving priorities across the organization. This helps ensure comprehensive alignment with organization’s priorities as they evolve throughout the year, especially when activities fall under different strategic goals.
