Hello Everyone! We are very excited to share with you all the innovations we are delivering in the first half 2025 release for our favorite “SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll” (ECP) solution. Some of these are already being called “game changing” innovations in the marketplace. You will be thrilled to see that SAP’s product and engineering teams have kept the promises it made during SuccessConnect roadmap and strategy sessions in Lisbon last October. AI-enabled “Explain my pay statement” capability via Joule
We are proud to introduce the “Explain My Pay statement” capability. Now, employees can easily understand details of their pay statements by simply asking Joule, SAP’s AI copilot. For example, requests like compare my historical pay statements, explain a specific deduction and other amounts on a payslip. This reduces HR inquiries and tickets, and boosts employee satisfaction. The replies by Joule will be based on the company’s policy documents. And by the way, Joule is now also available on mobile making it even more convenient to get your work done anywhere, at any time.
Available in English and in US, UK and Australia locales at launch. Other languages and locales to follow our planned country roadmap.

Enhanced Payroll Control Center (PCC) for admins
Check out our Enhanced Payroll Control Center through which business users can now manage a complete payroll cycle from start to end, not just running the payroll calculation, but all payroll activities that are necessary. We offer easy to configure payroll process flow and dashboards without IT skills which streamlines operations.
This significantly enhanced user experience provides real-time insights from pre-payroll activities - such as gathering time and attendance records, collecting benefits and deductions information, to post-payroll activities such as bank transfer, statutory reporting, and internal reporting.

Enhanced Payroll Control Center dashboard
Position Budgeting Control (PBC) for cloud Integration with Employee Central Payroll
We are thrilled to announce the integration of the Position Budgeting Control Workbench with ECP. Combined with the existing integrations of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP S/4 HANA cloud, this innovation provides live insights into personnel budget utilization and costs. This enables better management of allocated funds and grants, giving full visibility of salary costs, committed budget and available funds for personnel expenses especially in regulated industries such as Public Sector, Education and Research, healthcare and more.

Access to payroll information for terminated employees (alumni)
Our offboarding solution now allows terminated employees and company alumni to access payroll information (for example, pay statements or tax documents for a specified time after the termination date). This avoids manual effort for payroll administrators to provide documents to terminated employees.

New Local Version – Bulgaria
With this release we are excited to now provide the ability to run SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll for Bulgaria. This now brings our localized versions to 53 native locales, highest in the industry. (See the full list on our localization site with a cool interactive map). Native local country versions support our global base of customers with a local, compliant, and proven payroll platform. We also have five additional partner countries available as described in SAP KBA 3031216 - Employee Central Payroll: Availability of Partner Local Versions. EPI-USE has localized Peru, Vietnam, Denmark, Namibia, and Angola.
Our strategy is to deliver local versions we offered on-premise based upon customer and prospect demand so more to come for localizations. We also have a high interest from various partners to continue to localize more versions.
