Note:  The below solution demonstrates how WalkMe can be used for compensation statement acknowledgement and requires additional WalkMe licenses to configure.

A question we often get asked by customers is how they can track compensation statement views and better yet employee acknowledgement of their statement outcomes.  In certain countries, the acknowledgement of statements is not only a business necessity but also a legal requirement.  Using standard SuccessFactors functionality this requirement presents some challenges but by using WalkMe tools, building out this requirement becomes easy.

WalkMe is a Digital Adoption Platform that can help organisations drive productivity and navigate changing technology landscapes and business processes.  In this use case, we have built out a guided user experience for the employee to view and acknowledge a SuccessFactors Compensation statement.

WalkMe functionality used to build this demo includes

  • Shout Outs
  • Standard design templates
  • Smart Walk Through Automation

Tracking and reporting on views and clicks is automatic through WalkMe’s Insights Dashboards.  There are ready built reports as well as the ability to create custom dashboards and these can be distributed to key stakeholders on a schedule if required.

Additional Notes:

  • WalkMe custom configuration as seen in the demo video does require additional WalkMe licences
  • Standard WalkMe content embedded in SuccessFactors is available with the H1 2025 release and does not require an additional license.  Details of standard content can be found in the H1 2025 What’s New Viewer
  • The demo video contains a custom SuccessFactors Compensation statement.  The same acknowledgement functionality is also possible using a standard statement.

Special thanks to my WalkMe colleague Paul Casaneanu for helping to showcase the WalkMe functionality as it pertains specifically to the compensation module.
