At SAP, we continue to transform how organizations connect people, processes, and information. In the 1H 2025 release, we are excited to introduce key innovations in SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone—including Home Page Quick Action Cards, Supporting Alumni Experience, and the new Payroll Landing Page. These updates further empower employees, managers, alumni, and administrators with a more intelligent, connected, and efficient digital workplace.

Home Page Quick Action Cards: Take Action Instantly

Work happens fast—and so should the tools that support it. With Home Page Quick Action Cards, users can complete tasks such as requesting time off, clocking time, viewing their learning, managing goals, accessing their pay statements directly from their customized workspace, without navigating through multiple menus or applications. Deep links connect directly to key pages like the People Profile, Org Chart, Time Sheet, and Learning Home, while snack UIs enable quick in-place interactions

Key benefits:

  • Seamless action within the workspace: Employees can approve requests, update data, and complete tasks instantly—right from the homepage.
  • Effortless navigation to connected systems: Deep links streamline access to other platforms for cross-functional workflows.
  • Prioritized, actionable insights: Users see urgent tasks first, enabling smarter, faster decisions.
  • Simplified task management: Employees manage time, team, and personal data efficiently in one experience.

Supporting Alumni Experience: Foster Long-Term Connections

Employee relationships do not end at offboarding. The new Supporting Alumni Experience feature empowers organizations to maintain meaningful, mutually beneficial connections with former employees.

Key benefits:

  • Empower alumni with access and transparency: Alumni retain access to their personal data, ensuring transparency and control even after they leave the organization.
  • Enable self-service for alumni: Reduce HR workload by allowing alumni to update contact details, access pay slips, or retrieve employment documents on their own.
  • Enhance talent pools and referral networks: Support ongoing alumni engagement, creating opportunities for future collaborations, rehires, or referrals.

Payroll Landing Page: Streamline Payroll Administration

Managing payroll requires quick, consolidated access to information. The new Payroll Landing Page brings together everything payroll administrators need for their daily work—right in one place within SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone. A beta program is currently in progress, and customers interested in early access are encouraged to contact their SAP account manager to sign up.

Key benefits:

  • Centralized access to reporting, tickets, and resources: Administrators can easily navigate payroll reporting, support tickets, and key internal documents from a single workspace.
  • Flexible, extendable platform: The landing page provides baseline payroll content, including UI integration cards and APIs, empowering customers to extend and build a customized payroll experience tailored to their needs.
  • Initial focus on Employee Central Payroll: The landing page is optimized for ECP today, with support for SAP SuccessFactors Payroll planned in the future.

Building a Connected Workplace, From Hire to Alumni and Beyond

With these innovations, SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone continues to evolve as the one stop digital hub for employees, managers, alumni, and administrators—empowering every role to act, manage, and collaborate with greater ease and efficiency.
