SAP SuccessFactors introduces a modern, intuitive, and efficient approach with a user-friendly interface and dynamic, adaptive flows.                                                              This upgrade is designed to enhance candidate engagement, simplify the application process, and minimize drop-off rates.                                                                                                                                    Let’s dive into what’s new and how it helps streamline the candidate journey.

This enhanced experience centers around four key components:

  • Guided Application Experience
  • My Applications
  • My Profile
  • Manage Account

1. Guided Application Experience:                                                                                  Streamlined and Adaptive Application Flow- The Guided Application Experience delivers a smooth, intuitive application process that adapts to each job’s complexity.

  • Offers wizard-based and form-based templates
  • Dynamically adjusts questions based on the job and candidate input
  • Uses business rules to customize the flow
  • Requests only relevant information, saving time and improving accuracy

2.My Applications:                                                                                                            Centralized Application Management-The My Applications page acts as the central hub for candidates to manage their journey.

  • Track application status using clear, card-based layout
  • Resume in-progress drafts
  • Complete required tasks with one-click access
  • Update profiles even before applying
  • Registered candidates who haven’t applied are routed to the My Applications page to update their profile or continue their journey.

3.My Profile:                                                                                                                        One View of Candidate Information-My Profile provides a full snapshot of the candidate’s background.

4. Manage Account:
Full Control and Secure Personalization- The Manage Account page offers candidates a self-service portal to manage their account securely.

  • Update passwords and profile information

Setup & Requirements:

For Existing Customers:
No configuration changes needed—your current setup and templates are fully compatible.                            For New Customers:
Make sure to complete prerequisites and configure the following templates:

  • Job Requisition
  • Candidate Profile
  • Job Application
  • Offer                                                                                                                                                   Also, make sure:  
  • Career Site Builder and Mobile Apply are enabled
  • Enable Candidate Account Simplification setting enabled from Company Name  Company Settings  Recruiting Marketing.
  • In Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings > Career Site, enable:
         Enable Candidate Experience for Career Site
  • In Career Site Builder, go to Appearance >Styles >Headers <Locale> <Brand>.
  • For both Desktop Layout and Mobile Layout, ensure that the Sign-In and Language component is added and that the Use Sign In Widget and Use Locale Selector settings are enabled in both layouts
  • Ensure that you've enabled DPCS 2.0 in your instance

Known Limitations (1H 2025):                                                                                            Currently, the following are not supported in the Reimagined Experience:

  • Uploading via Dropbox/Google Drive                                                                                               
  • Apply with LinkedIn
  • Saved Jobs functionality
  • Internal Employee Referrals for candidate search
  • Quick Apply continues using the legacy interface

Pro Tips-Optimize Your Experience:                                                                                  To get the most out of the new features, we recommend enabling:

  • SAP Customer Data Cloud Authentication for secure external candidate sign-in                                   
  • Unified Data Model for smooth integration across Career Site Builder and Recruiting modules

Thank you for the very helpful summary of the topic, karthick.

Do you possibly know, when the new UI for the candidates will be also available for quick apply.

In our organization we use only quick apply and it would be interesting to understand, when we'll be able to offer that experience to our candidates.

As mentioned in the blog regarding known limitations, the Quick Apply feature is still utilizing the legacy interface.
