Functional Overview:
The "Specific Job Roles I’m Considering" card, previously found in the legacy People Profile, has been re-platformed as a Spotlight Card titled Target Role. This card continues to display roles pulled from the Career Worksheet, specifically those marked with the checkbox “Show in People Profile.”
How to Add Roles to the Target Role Spotlight Card:
Behaviour and Limitation:
Only the first three job roles (as selected in the Career Worksheet) will be displayed.
Any additional roles selected are ignored and not shown in the Spotlight Card.
📌Best Practice Tip:
To change which roles appear, simply uncheck and recheck the preferred roles in the desired order. The system will always display the first three based on the sequence in the Career Worksheet.
Functional Overview:
This card consolidates an employee’s job history by pulling data from one of the following 3 options:
Internal Job History (Custom MDF) from Job Data > Job Information
Once the Internal Job History experience is enabled, external + internal work experience entries are automatically hidden — this is considered standard system behaviour (see images below).
Limitations (as of 1H 2025) using Internal Job History - Custom MDF:
The business rule configuration only supports IF conditions. No THEN logic or actions are executed (e.g., setting calculated values or conditions on display).
The card does not dynamically update once the internal record is generated. For example, if a Job Title is changed after the internal record is captured, the original title will continue to display, and the new one will not be reflected.
This behaviour effectively freezes the values from the time the experience was recorded.
A potential defect exists where any changes in the Job Information card (e.g. change in Supervisor, Location etc.) result in unintended end-dating of internal work job history records on the card, even though the employee is still active in the same position.

After enabling the Latest People Profile, you may notice that the Compensation Information summary-view card is not visible as expected on the full profile — even though the configuration appears correct.
What’s not clearly highlighted in the 1H 2025 What’s New Viewer is that Role-Based Permission access to the object Pay Component Group is now essential for this card to display correctly.
Without this specific permission:
The summary-view won’t appear at all on the Compensation Information card.
Users can still access data by clicking into either “History" or "View All”, but the quick-view on the card remains hidden.
If you're facing this issue, consider reviewing your RBP roles and ensure including View access to all Pay Component Groups under “Employee Data”.
While I did manged to locate the below 2 links that references Compensation Information access, it doesn’t explicitly state that Pay Component Group permissions control card visibility.

Behaviour Post-1H 2025:
The summary view of the Payment Information card in the Full Profile now displays either the IBAN (if maintained) or else the Account Number, shown under the label “Bank Transfer”.
SAP Confirmation:
This display is intentional system behaviour.
Currently, there is no configuration option to mask the IBAN or Account Number individually. The only workaround is to hide the entire Payment Information card — which removes visibility for all users.
📌Recommendation:
Review your company’s data privacy controls to ensure that the visibility of the IBAN or Account Number in the summary view aligns with policy requirements. If needed, consider restricting access to the Payment Information card under 'Miscellaneous Permissions'.
SAP has acknowledged upcoming enhancements planned for 2H 2025, which include support for PII Masking across MDF and MDF-based entities. While the Payment Information card isn't explicitly mentioned, it's worth monitoring this space. You can find more detail here: New People Profile Experience - SAP Community
Also, consider submitting your use case via the SAP Customer Influence Portal to help ensure this requirement is visible to SAP and potentially included in the roadmap (if not already planned).
What’s New in 1H 2025:
Improved Time Management UI on the Latest People Profile.
If configured, Time Account Balances are now displayed using SAP’s enhanced Time Account Balance Calculation Engine, reflecting the following correctly:

Issue Summary:
Some users lost access to the “Request Time Off” "Time Sheet" functionality after the 1H 2025 release. This was due to SAP relocating the ‘Employee Time View Permission’ to a new RBP section:
Time Management User Permissions > Access Time Off + Access Time Sheet
Resolution:
Review and update existing roles to include this new permission path.
Users missing this may also lose access to the Time Management section in their People Profile.

Change Overview (as of 1H 2025):
External codes for Foundation and MDF Objects (e.g., Job Code, Pay Grade, Legal Entity, Location) are now hidden by default in the Full Profile across:
The summary view of all relevant profile cards
The “View All” section
They remain visible only via the History view, accessible through the History icon on the card or via View All > History, consistent with the legacy profile behaviour.
SAP Confirmation:
This is expected behaviour as per 3527163 - Full Profile of the Latest People Profile FAQ - 1H 2025 - SAP for Me with one exception: Cost Centre continues to display its external code in view mode. (Tip: search for “External Codes” within the SAP note 3527163 to locate the relevant section quickly.)
SAP has acknowledged this limitation and noted that an enhancement is planned for the 2H 2025 release (Enhancement ID: WEF-161057), although this has not yet been confirmed.
SAP Rationale:
This is part of an ongoing UI simplification effort to reduce technical clutter in the user experience.
Recommendation:
If visibility of external codes is essential for your business processes then consider the following:
