Sometimes interviews need to be rescheduled because a candidate or interviewer isn’t available. In SAP SuccessFactors, you can easily reschedule interviews and notify the candidate automatically. Here's how:

Step 1: Create a Reschedule Email Template

  1. Go to Manage Recruiting Email Templates.
  2. Create a new email template specific to rescheduling interviews. You can customize this email with the relevant information, such as the new interview time.

 Step 2: Set Up Email Triggers

Once you have created the reschedule email template, it’s important to enable it through Recruiting Email Triggers. This email is automatically sent when an interview is rescheduled. Follow these steps

Go to Recruiting Email Triggers.

  1. enable the related reschedule email trigger.

  1.   Select the appropriate email template from the dropdown to be used for this specific scenario.

Step 3: Reschedule the Interview

  1. Cancel the Previous Interview: For the candidate who is unable to attend, cancel the previously scheduled interview time.
  2. Pick a New Date and Time: Choose the new interview time.
  3.  Send the Reschedule Email: Once you select the new date and time, click Continue. The system will automatically trigger the reschedule email template you created. The subject line will reflect the rescheduled interview information.
  4. Send the Email: Finally, click Send to notify the candidate.
