Reporting Prerequisites:Enable Story Report
- Onboarding Admin Access
- Enable Create Story and Share Reports to Groups & Roles permissions.
- Enable the Create Story permission and select the schemas you want to use while creating report stories.
- Enable schema-specific permissions to access data from the schema tables. Refer to the Schema Permissions Required for Using Story topic for more information.
Onboarding Prerequisites:
- Custom Task (Using MDF) is created and available in the system.

- Report Schema Configuration Entity is created under Manage Data

- Sub-Domain and Is Root are defined under Report Object Configuration Entity for Custom MDF Task


Go to Reporting
- In the Admin Center, locate the Reporting section.
- Click on Reporting to create new report and view & edit existing created and assigned reports.

Creating Query
- In the Reporting section, click on the New to create a new report.

- Always select Optimized Design Experience for better experience and click on Create.

- You can see the available Onboarding Data Sets in the right side of the panel.

Note: On the right-side panel you can see “Exit Interview” and it is a custom MDF Task which was added into report schema using Manage Data.
- You can choose data sets to build your query as per the data required to build the dashboard.

Note: Here we have selected “User” domain to pull the basic employee details such as Name, ID, Division, Department etc.
Also, to pull the response of exit interview questions we need to access Custom MDF using “User” query.
Save the query and click OK to jump into the story designer page.

Creating dashboard
- Choose the Page Layout and Apply (You can select a predefined template or create a blank page).

- Select “Canvas” from the type of page you want to create.

- Insert a table using “Insert” icon.

- Select the column from the right-side panel.

Note: These fields can be renamed using right side panel.
- Add Filter to the table report.

- Select the filter fields from dimensions and click on filter by member.


Save the story once done with all the changes.
Running the Report

- Click on the Run button to execute the report.

Here is another example of offboarding/onboarding task status report.

- To build the linked analysis between chart and table, Edit the report and click on three dots.

- Select the filter interactions apply to and settings based on your requirement.
