2H 2025 - Release highlights of SuccessFactors Time Management

Hi Everyone,

As you all know its 2H 2025 Release Month and Here are some of the Release Features which every time consultant must know.

1) Compare threshold with comparison group to route input has been renames as Route Input based on Decision.

2)  Geofencing for clock times 
Now you can set a predefined office location where you want to record certain time event types only within that area. This feature is available only for mobile as of now and it uses Google Maps to fetch the location which gives better accuracy.

 

 3)  Automatic Synchronization of Clock in Clock Out Employees Supported for Leave of Absence

When an employee goes on a Leave of Absence (LOA) or returns from a LOA, it is no longer needed to perform a manual employee synchronization for Clock In Clock Out users. Previously manual sync is needed to reflect the changes after LOA and RTW but now system automatically sync up the data to synchronize clock in clock out.

 

 4)  Automatic Time Management configurations available in Configure Transport Center
Now you can copy and move the clock in clock out transaction objects with transport center which makes the work more easy

 5)  Time Sheet Change Audit Document for an Employee Self-Service Scenario

Employees can now download their time sheet audit statement that acts as a report of their time sheet entries

 6) TLMTriggerTasks Job available in Scheduled Job UI

Earlier TLMTriggerTask job has to be scheduled from Provisioning system but now you can schedule it Via instance system through scheduled job manager transaction.

 7)  Counting Records in a Time Type Group

Create Time Record time valuation type has been enhanced to count the number of recordings in a time type group or directly generate a fixed counted event.

7) Automatic Recalculation of Holiday Calendar Object

Now an automatic recalculation occurs to Holiday Calendar object when you edit or add any holiday. For this you must enable option in time management configuration as shown below:

SAP SuccessFactors HCM 2H 2025 Release Highlights Brochure mentions 'SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Scheduling'. There is no mention of this functionality in What's New Viewer.

Can you please share more information on the 'SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Scheduling'? Is this functionality build on 'View My Calendar' in SuccessFactors? Or is this external integrated scheduling solution? If external solution (outside of actual SuccessFactors), can you please advise which one and share link to additional documentation?

Hi @PetraRana 

The shift planning scheduling solution will come as a early adopter version from January 2026. If you are interested, I would recommend to have a look at the influence.sap.com website. 

It is based on what was there in Digital manufacturing, as far as I know.
