XBRL reporting of Consolidated Financial Statements from SAP BPC 11.1 Embedded on BW4HANA

Hi everyone

I have question whether we can provide Standalone as well as Consolidated Financial Statements directly from Consolidation Model from SAP BPC 11.1 Embedded version on BW4HANA 2.0

Client needs financial statements as per Ind AS (Indian GAAP) for statutory reporting to MCA.

If not direct than do we have any work around solution for the same please let me know.

XBRL Reporting can be enabled through SAP Disclosure Management. The financial statements, notes to accounts and disclosures can be automated with integration to BW and approval workflows using SAP Disclosure Management. If you are talking about report FILE format (no idea about XBRL) then I do not understand how it's related to BPC model.

Simply get the required data in Excel and then use Excel VBA to produce "XBRL" file.

Theoretically you can write a complex ABAP code to export data in XBRL directly from BPC, but Excel VBA will be a simple solution!

Sorry, but it depends on the setup of your system! There is no out of the box solution for any specific reporting...

Lets say we have report templates for balance sheet in excel using Analysis for office or we need to use back end data ?

Sorry, but it's not possible to help you!

Different reports require different logic and different data. And it's your job as a consultant to investigate the detailed requirements.

I know what report client wants which is possible through standard mechanism of SAP BPC Embedded but question is that client need report data in XBRL format as well which is similar to XML format other than reports in XLS formats.

So does SAP has tool or EPM product which I can use for this reporting purpose.

I hope you understand my quetion.
