Wrong Field Descriptions in PaPM

Hello friends,

i have the following problem, see the DSO input: for some fields i have the field name as the description. This is bad because when i calculate smth. just the field name will appear, the user cant understand what the technical name means. So for COMP_CODE it is correct, but for ZPMBASICY i also want the Source Field Description. Do i have to change some settings in SAP-Logon ?

Because when i go in the SAP-logon (RSA1), the description (Beschreibung lang, Beschreibung kurz) is right.

Hope some BW experts can help...

Hi Philipp

Please maintain SAP BW info object description in the same language/s as you are logged to SAP PaPM - then "replicate" fields from aDSO once again, but in a new environment or you can delete "old" fields from current environment and replicate them once again.

Info objects (technical name starts with 0...) are SAP BW business content info object - usually they have all installed languages descriptions - yours custom Z... not.
