In our environment, we have some workflow action which is available if an approval is required, by condition <* ApprovalRequired *>. However, we notice that the action doesn't auto show up when user make some changes in Product Configuration tab and an approval is needed, while the approval banner is showing automatically.

The action shows up after user clicks other tab and comes back to Product Configuration tab. May we know if it's expected behavior? Thanks.

Hi hulei
Have you configured Setup -> Workflow/Approval -> Approval rules ?
Notification message will be displaying in top of Quotation tab when Discount amount or Discount % is exceeded, then it needs to go for Approval based on your workflow matrix is configured based on Quote status

Try it and let me know

Hi Yogananda,

Yes, the notification message works as expected. Our issue is on a workflow action which is controlled by <* ApprovalRequired *>. The expectation is it will show up whenever an approval is required. But from the testing, we need to go to other tab and come back to Product Configuration tab to see the action. Is it expected behavior?

Thanks,

Hulei

Hi hulei
you can customize it according to your need from Responsive Template instead of going back n forth tabs.

Hi Yogananda,

I know that we can customize labels of actions. Do you mean that we can customize visibility of it also, e.g. to make it visible when approval is required?

Any example for that?

Thanks,

Hulei

yes, you can customize the visibility and action of the page for Approval. I don't have any current example.

Hi Yogananda,

Thank you. After some checking, another way might be to use Quote.RefreshActions(), which can refresh available actions on the quote.

Best regards,

Hulei
