Work Status issue

Hi,

We are on 10.1 SP7. This week we applied some changes in the workstatus, but now it looks like the system is no longer recognizing the manager. This is happening in both our own system as in ENVIRONMENTSHELL.

We have the following setup:

Status          Controlled by

Default         Owner and Manager

Started         Owner and Manager

Submitted    Manager

APPROVED     MAnager

OWNER can submit without issue. Manager however is not able to do anything. Als when the status is submitted, the manager should be able to run packages, but system also does not recognize this. So in general it seems that the manager or hierarchy is not recognized by the system.

Already checked the tables UJW_STATCODE and UJ0_PARAM_APP, but everythings seems fine there. In UJW_WS_TEST, the message is that the user is neither owner or manager of the affected entity, allthough the user is in the team in the owner property. Putting in the userid directly in the owner property is also not working.

Any ideas?

Thanks for helping but I have found the solution. After applying notes 2240431 and 2283060

, the issue got resolved. It was a side effect of note 2236448.

You mentioned that you applied some changes to work status settings. Can you let us know what changes did you make?

Hi,

I added the workstate STARTED, and set submitted to manager. This to ensure a user could change the status to submitted, but not back to started.

Below screenshots of the entity dimension and the workstatus settings.

And this is the entity dimension. My user is TVHOUT.
As you can see, my user is OWNER of the parent 070, and for the default work state this means I should be able to change it to started. However, this is not possible

As you can see, it looks like the system is not recognizing the fact that my user is the owner of the parent, and not authorizing my user to change the work status, allthough in the way it is setup, this should be possible.

Hi Vierhout,

You are not assign any ID to the Owner property to the 0701. Define Your user TVHOUT  to the 0701 that's your company Hilfiger stores Russia and remove from PVH_AMS.

No this is not the case. I agree that if I set my user to be the OWNER, I can set the status to submitted. However, As I am also the owner of PVH_AMS, the system should also recognize me as the manager. This is not happening, so then I am still not able to change the status to approved, or to execute DM packages or enter data, although this should be possible for the manager, according to the workstatus settings.
