Work Status formula does not return values for status 1 (user) and 2 (time)

The problem is happening after the upgrade to BPC 10.1 NW SP 0007.

Versions are:   CPMBPC 810 SP 0007

SAP-BW 740 SP 0012

POASBC 100_731  SP 0005

EPM Add-In is SP20.

Using the formula EPMWORKSTATUS the value for status 0 is returned.  Values for status 1 and 2 are blank. Nothing is returned.  The formula works fine on the previous version BPC 10.0 NW (CPMBPC 801 SP 0005).

Just to test - try EPM SP24

I tested it using EPM SP 24 and BPC 10.1 - no values for status 1 and 2.  I also tried it with EPM SP 20 and BPC 10.1 - still no values for status 1 and 2.  I tried it again with EPM 20 and BPC 10.0 - I get values for status 1 and 2.   Then I tried it with EPM 24 and BPC 10.0 and I get values for status 1 and 2.   It seems to be isolated to BPC 10.1.  We are upgrading to EPM SP 24 but that does not resolve the issue.

Kindly check the work status table values in BW - goto se16-- UJW_STATCODE check the table entries.

Hi,

I suggest two things that may help narrow the scope or solve the problem.

Would it be possible for you test this with a new BPC environment, if you have one handy, so that all the WS are set with the new version of BPC?

If that works or even if it doesn't work, you can send this to BPC support for further investigation.

Can you check whether you can generate Work Status audit report or not ?

Look on the table: Work Status Lock:/1CPMB/...

Open this table in SE16

I can generate a work status audit report.  It is just that the excel EPM formula does not return the values (EPMworkstatus).  How can I tell if the developer ran program UJT_MIGRATE_100_TO_101?

Hi Rose,

Ask to the person who has done upgrade from 10.0 to 10.1.

This is mandatory program that needs to be executed.

Also you can try to simulate this error on different machine with different user id.

Hello Skrikant.  The person who migrated from BPC 10.0 to 10.1 has executed the program.  The table entries for UJW_STATCODE look the same in the 10.0 version vs the 10.1 version.  Another user is having the same problem in that the EPMworkstatus formula does not return values for status 1 and 2.   Any further advise is appreciated.
