Without Qty in Credit Memo

Hi

  I have attached 2 images . In Image 1 i want to know how the value of Highlight row has been calculated.

Image 2 is A/p Credit memo entry.

Hi @ramco1917 ,

As per images, you posted an A/P Credit Memo for items by selecting option "Without Quantity Posting" as "Y". It means you are not paying for the items and you are not returning the Items.

It means previously it may purchased with 10 items each cost Rs 100 but now in those now you are not paying of 5 Items which effects the inventory value of 10 items. Now each item cost only Rs 50. 

So it thoughts like what ever the value that makes inventory value increased earlier needs to be decreased now because you are not returning the items back.
