Which databases does SAP-BPC use?

Hello experts,

I have little knowledge of SAP and should answer the following question about SAP-BPC. SAP-BPC was also implemented as part of the rollout of SAP from the parent company to the subsidiary. It was explained to me that no separate customizing is required at the subsidiary for the parent company to use BPC. This was justified by the fact that SAP-BPC only uses data from the chart of accounts used by both companies. Since the FI data is available and no access to cost centers, etc. is necessary, no customizing work would be necessary at the subsidiary. I can't imagine that the evaluation only uses the G/L accounts. Therefore, I need information about which data SAP-BPC actually accesses and which customizing work is necessary for the implementation at the subsidiary. Thanks for the help.

SAP BPC is a custom solution. You can load data from any source and perform calculations and report generation inside BPC. Please provide additional info and clarify your question.
