Whether Team can be assigned as performer in Business process flow in SAP BPC NW 10.0

Hi Experts,

I am working on SAP BPC NW 10.0 and facing a difficulty in assigning Team as a performer in Business Process Flow.

I have Maintained one owner property in the driving dimension of my model and chosen that property at the time of making project template. At the time of setting an Instance i am trying to change performer to a Team.

Reviewer assigned is not included in this team. Now am getting option of submit in reviewer's profile also which was not coming when a single user was assigned as owner.

Kindly Guide me whether performer can only be a single user or Team can also be assigned as owner. And whether performer can be changed in process instance or  not.

I am facing the same issue, apply all security settings and combination but when i use team instead of user it gives me submit button on all activities of reviewer.

I tried using team name in owner property but while processing dimension it is showing warning this user does not exist and not taking it automatically as performer.

Be sure to use the square brackets:

[TEAM 1]

use multple team assignments this way:

[TEAM 1],[TEAM 2]

As I said earlier,please use Team in brackets ie.[teamname].

You mean that the dimension is not processing and giving you a warning?

Are you sure there are no other (old usernames) in the owner property somewhere that are causing this error? Did you take the exact team name as you have defined in BPC Security settings?

Hi Jef,

There are no other old usernames in the owner property and my dimension is now getting validated without warnings. But issue is still not resolved. It is still showing submit option in the ID of user included in reviewers team only

It would help if you explain the problem more clearly, with your setup and maybe put a screenshot with it.

I can only guess that you are trying to accomplish this:

- owners of activity1 should only see 'Submit data', which completes their activity

- reviewers of activity1 should only 'Approve' (to move to next activity2) or 'Reject' to let the owners of activity1 perform that activity again

In that respect, you should create 2 properties: OWNER and REVIEWER

In the BPF template, you should then set the performer of activity1 to OWNER and the reviewer to REVIEWER property.

Of course you should do this both on the same driving dimension.

Hi Jef,

I have followed the same procedure mentioned by you. I have created two properties OWNER and REVIEWER in driving dimension.

Created two teams TEAM 1, TEAM 2. User 1 is in team 1 and User 2 in team 2.

In Owner property I have maintained [TEAM 1] and in REVIEWER property [TEAM 2].

Selected performer of activity OWNER and reviewer of property [TEAM 2] in process template.

and i am getting option of submit in the ID of User 2.

Hi Rakhi,

Please check the work status settings of Submitted.

Path to check : Administration -> Features -> Work Status -> Submitted

Edit the Submitted work status and unflag Manager.

Please let me know if it works.

Hi Rakhi,

We can add Team as Performer by means of specifying Team in Owner Property of Entity Dimension.

Owner

[TEAMNAME]

Note:Add multiple team to member of dimension by separator comma.
