Where to change Description Length in BPC 10.1 MS

Hi all.

Is it possible to change the length of the EVDescription field in BPC 10.1 MS?

We have upgraded from 7.5, but the descriptions are failing to process, due to them being up to 100 characters long.

Obviously, we don't want to just chop down the descriptions, as this would create duplicate descriptions that will just confuse the users.

Hi Craig,

you cannot change the standard evdescription as stated in this note 1623860 - Dimension Property Default Field Lengths

If you want to have a longer description you should add a proerty with the desired length and use this as description.
