Where do you see the Service Provider for Sync with SAP CC?

Hello,

I have a SAP CC system setup with the default O2C service provider, but I want to create a new one. I've configured the CC user that is used by SOM to fetch from the new catalog, but items that come from S4 like the subscriber account are still being created in the O2C service provider.

How do you define the service provider used by S4 during CC sync?

Thanks

Hi Joao,

In the SOAP API you're calling from SOM, the service provider is the catalogue of the user that sent the query (for the provisioning services, each WS user must be explicitly associated with one catalogue).
So, when you create a subscriber account using the SOAP API, Convergent Charging just chooses the name of the catalogue that you had specified when you set up the user (i.e., the name of the catalogue you see when you open the user in Core tool).

So, if you're not getting the right result now, can you please double-check that your queries are sent by the new user, and that you have properly associated this user to the new catalogue?
One way of verifying the queries sent by SOM is to enable the "WS" debug traces in the Convergent Charging updater. This way, in the updater's TRC files, you'll see each SOAP query received, and the name of the user will appear there. Then, you'll just have to open that user in Core tool to verify its configuration (i.e., its catalogue).

Feel free to ask for more guidance if needed.

Best regards.
