Hi All,
How to create a import declaration from goods receipt(Material document created from inbound delivery) with out entering Preliminary document & number in foreign trade customs tab in inbound delivery.
Note: i have checked the check box "place in to customs before GR. in document control, detail control tab.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Eswar,
I understand that there are some situations in which you don't need Transit, but normally some sort of Customs Presentation is still required. if that is the case for your client, then the way forward would be to model the presentation in the system, and create the Import Declaration on that basis. Creation of a Presentation document in GTS also requires entry of a preliminary document on the ERP side.
Hope that helps.

Dave

Hi Dave,
My client is using T1, Prelimenary document number, to create Transit document and import declaration from material document. For a particular plant he dont want to create transit documents that why he is not entering T1&Prelemenary document, but needs import declaration from material document.
Please advise what is the best possible solution or there is any work around to complete the process.
Thanks,
Eswar S

Hi Eswar,
You cannot create a Declaration from a GR without first entering preliminary document details.
