I have to create the bank master data (tc FI01) for Uganda, Botswana, Dominican Republic and Guatemala. What is the best practice for the bank key for each of these countries?
First you should look at attachments of note 1164216 - T005, T005S Content for those countries, noting the parameters related to bank like bank key length and rule (check also in your system with SM30 on view V_005_B)
Then check the web sites of organisations such as SWIFT or the central banks of those coyntries, and with any bank your work with to get list of banks (not always free of charge)
