If this is about BPC then below is the PAM matrix for MS Office support for AFO 2.8

If this is about SAP BPS then its support kind of ended in 2017. BW-BPS as well as BI-IP are included in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and in Enhancement Packages on 7.0. Excel version was very much governed by Bex in case of BPS. I found below from old documentation of NW7.0

I guess you are askingn about BPC instead of BPS. Please check PAM deck of Analysis for Office.
