I am trying to understand difference between SAP Disclosure Management and SAP Advanced Compliance Reporting in terms of architecture, technical prerequisites and any relevant information etc. Can anyone please help me with the same? Thanks.
Request clarification before answering.
Hello Sameer
I do not know SAP S/4HANA for advanced compliance reporting very well, so I just got most information from
https://www.sap.com/canada/products/advanced-compliance-reporting.html
Disclosure Management was the result of an acquisition, and this product runs on SQL server (not HANA)
Besides legal reporting, it can also create XBRL for various scenarios (EU, US SEC etc.) which Compliance reporting does not appear to have
There will, no doubt, be some overlap, but it will really depend on your business needs what solution is best.
I recommend you get in touch with SAP Sales to get some demos of the products
Thanks
Marc

Thanks for reply, Marc.
As we understand from features of Advanced Compliance Reporting (ACR), it can also create XBRL. Quoting below statement from
https://www.sap.com/india/documents/2017/06/26e86344-c27c-0010-82c7-eda71af511fa.html
"Supports multiple legal formats such as XML, XBRL, TXT, PDF forms"
It would have been good had there been a chart of features comparison between SAP DM and SAP ACR. Do you know any?
Also, would it be possible for you to share some technical prerequisites and steps for going for SAP ACR?
Thanks.
Sameer
