What does Reference date in start_contract_activation means

Hi Experts,

I would like to know what does Reference date means while activating contracts manually through Admin + after rerating .

What date should be given and why should it be mentioned ..what purpose does it serve ...

Please help me with this .I have searched alot but couldn't figure it out ...

Hi Nivedha,

The reference date is the date up to which the events of the targeted contracts must be processed.
When you launch the command, CC charges all unprocessed events for each contract (i.e., all events after the last activation date and up to the reference date).
