Webinar promotion and retaggin

I run a series of webinars targeting the finance audience and have always used SCN very successfully to promote the webinar and drive registrations, posting my blogs into the webinars section. For my latest webinar on Access Governance I created a similar blog in the "new" SCN and tagged as I thought was appropriate. However, I am really not seeing the traction from the blog that I did previously. Is there a way I can give the blog better visibility eg retagging etc? Is there a generic webinar/events section is can be posted to or business trends section. If I retag, does the SCN link then change? Please advise.
