Using aATP in SAP CPQ

Hi, Expert

Client uses S/4HANA (include advanced available to promise) and SAP CPQ.

I want to know Function(or BAPi) about aATP to use it in SAP CPQ.

1. Which function should be used to perform aATP in CPQ?

2. when execute aATP, Should the material be consumed? I don't want to consumed.

Please help this problem.

Hi Young,

currently I am not aware of an out-of-the-box solution where you can 'connect' SAP CPQ with advanced ATP in S/4HANA.

There is however the Basic Product Availability Info API which can be used to retrieve availability information for material/plant from an S/4HANA system. Please find details on API Business Hub. By requesting information you do not consume, it is pure information. The real ATP check with confirmation would then be needed to carry out on sales order capturing within S/4HANA itself.
