Use GD13 as a database for Report Painter/Report Writer

Good morning together,

thanks for the welcoming in this forum Hope this is the right tag for my issue.


My Question:

Is it possible to use the GD13 table in the Report Painter/Writer as a database for a report? Therefore the GD13 must be available for example as a reporting table in the Report Writer Set creation.

Initial Situation:

Beside the primary account structure it exists another account list (in the following I will call it reporting accounts, because they are relevant for the reporting). The mapping betweet those two Accounting lists is done in two ways:

a) Direct Mapping in the primary Account (primary Accout x = reporting account y)
b) Mappingtable: combination G/L account & cost center or order number = reporting account z
The GD13 shows all total records of a period with the primary accounts, cost centers, orders and the repoting accounts.

Target:
Creation of a report (an entire P&L structure) with the Report Painter/Writer to get a secundary account structure with the reporting accounts (e.g. creation of account groups)

I want to avoid building this report on cost types, cost center, order number combinations, because a mapping already exists in the system.

Hope my problem description is understandable. I appreciate every input and all alternative solution proposals.
