Use a BPC 10.1 Standard model as transient provider

Dear experts,

currently we are investigating the possibilities to connect a BPC 10.1 Standard Model to Analytics Cloud. As bringing the data to the cloud via Cloud connector is no option and there is no real live connection with Standard BPC we are thinking about BPC model as a transient provider. I find no official guidance on this in the Analytics Cloud help, so could maybe someone share his experiences or ideas to achive this?

Please explain what do you mean by "transient provider" in your particular case!

Hi Vadim,

we have a BPC Standard 10.1 Reporting YTD Model. Now i would like to build a dashboard based on the data in Analytics clound. An SAP guy i guess Patrick Favre was his name (i also saw some blogs of him here) told us (as there will be now live Connection for BPC Standard) that it would by possible to create a transient query or provider in order to access BPC data for reporting purpose in SAC. Or does he mean to switch the BPC cube in order to make it accessible for SAC. Hm but somehow i wonder whether this is possible? I never saw an official instruction from SAP on this in SAC help.
