Hi All,
I never used Peculiarity Codes in GTS. I tried searching for an use case where this P Code is used but i did not find one. I have a requirement to block an order with ship to to a specific country and having a specific product. I am thinking of using P Code but not sure how to use it.
Can someone throw some light as how i can use this P Code.
Regards,
Sunny

Hi, This code is used to further restrict an ECCN. I think it would be helpful in your scenario. I've used it in the past when managing encrypted products going to the 743 Supplement 1 countries vs. all other countries. Please note that if you activate it, then it means 100% of your products will require a value to be in this field...even if it means something like "NA." You will also need to add it as an attribute to your licensing config and then manage your licenses according to the values that would be acceptable based on the requirements.

Hi Jessica,
We are exploring the options of using this code to manage deliveries for which our customer needs to organise an import permit. I'm triggered by the "100% of the products require the code" sentence. We have currently > 6 million product references - none with that code. What would happen if we start using the peculiarity code? Would the whole system come to a stop? My preference would be to start using it and then just update the (few) products that we need to focus on. And additional question on that: is there a mass update possible for peculiarity codes? Looking forward to your reply! Thanks in advance, Corinne
