Hello experts,
I am working in BPC 10.1 and have quite experience about loading master data from infoobject BW and loading transactional data from infoprovider BW (a cube).
However, due to my case study I would like to know if we can load master data from infoprovider instead an infoobject.
I mean, we will load a Z table from R3 to BW, creating an infoprovider. Inside this table, I have master data and the attributes that we want to pass to BPC.
How can I take master data and attributes from that cube / infoprovider (not an infoobject)? I would not know what is the chain process to use.
I would appreciate any help.
Kind regards,
Manu

Hi Manu,
Can you try load master data to BPC from data-source without cube (chain /CPMB/LOAD_DATASRC_MDATTR or /CPMB/LOAD_DATASRC_MD) ?
If not I suggest you load data from your cube to the new BW info-object.
After that load master data from this info-object to BPC (chain /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER)
or use this BW info-object as "external" in BPC.
Best regards,
Dmitry

Hi Manu,
There is no process chain to import master data from an infoprovider. You can import master data only from infoObject or flat file and the import from flat file would not help you in this case because the export of master data to a flat file is done from a infoObject.
