Hello,

I want to upload a bank statement in the app: manage bank statements. I use the format:

camt.053.001.02. The format of the bank statement is:

xmlns="urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:camt.053.001.02">

In the protocol I got the information:

External + transaction code is not specified for transaction type CAMT053.

And the error: Bank statement file was not updated.

I attached the xml.

I am anonymized the following lines

IBAN

USTRD

Thank you! 🙂

Update: I checked the relevant KBA FTE_FIEB012

It says that the sub node BkTxCd is positioned the under node Ntry. But in the file is no sub node BkTxCd. The bank doesnt give me another bank statement.

Hi,

you pay money to your bank for your bank account right? To me it's always something which I struggle to understand. The CGI gives out standard formats, which all bank around the globe, who use these file format have to obey to. If they don't and they send a not 100% complete file. To me this is a mistake on bank side. I would reach out to them saying "hey I pay a bank fee for your services and I would assume you follow the standard file format. The specification expects that field, so you should provide it."

Best,

Hey Edrilan, thank you very much for your answer. I totally agree with you! In my case, it's a bit more special. I don't receive the account statement from a bank. The creator of the account statement is called PayJoe. This helps to create payments from payment providers such as Amazon, Paypal or Shopify. The problem is that PayJoe charges a consultation fee for every request. However, I just don't see why I have to pay a fee for something that should be available as standard. But I will make a request anyway.

I did some research. CAMT 053 pain 02 does not contain any GVC according to ISO standard 20022. Can I deactivate the query in SAP?
