Upgrade BPC 7.5 NW to BPC 10.1 on HANA

Hello All,

I have a requirement to upgrade existing BPC 7.5 NW to 10.1 on HANA. Can anyone help me with the guides to do this?

I have gone through the link below which helps me understand how to proceed but in this document, I could not find any which does not mention anything about HANA.

Hi Vadim,

Thanks for your reply. I had referred this document as well before but I could not find anything related to HANA. This document only mentions BPC 10.1 and BI upgrade. I have a question please;

1. Is HANA only a DATABASE which will replace Oracle in 10.1?

2. Will the BI component remain as it is like we have in BPC 10.0, 7.5?

I don't think you will be able to perform migration on the same server. If you use separate server then just restore backup and perform required steps.

Then check with SAP Support....I dont think there are any significant changes since then.....then it would have been probably documented by SAP somewhere.....:)
